Elysium's Richa Sandhar's concept was different from Jeff's. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is. The hair's cool though. Fog machine used to create a backdrop as there wasn't enough space to set up a full backdrop system in the salon where we shot two of the three models presented in this entry. The fog also helped soften the edge lighting originating from behind the models. Makeup by Jennifer Chivers.
Nikon D2X. Nikon 70-200/2.8 AF-S VR. Lightrein 36" octagonal softbox with Lighttools 50degree Soft Egg Crate as key light from above. Generous fill with a Plume Wafer 140 controlled by a Lighttools 50degree Soft Egg Crate from below. Rear lighting provided by a Balcar AQ Pack S1200 with two Balcar Iris heads shot with the bare FX60 7" faceted reflector. Foreground lighting by the Bowens QuadX 3000 pack and two Quad heads.
